Art Nouveau hotel in Lucerne

Walk through almost untouched nature, visit the historic old town with the famous chapel bridge and experience the picturesque Lake Lucerne. Built in 1910 in Art Nouveau style, Hotel Royal has 46 rooms and is situated in a quiet, slightly elevated position above the Lucerne lake basin. Some of the hotel rooms also have a balcony with beautiful views of the mountain idyll that surrounds the Hotel Royal. Dogs are welcome in certain rooms upon prior announcement, subject to a fee of 30 CHF per night. The current tourist tax is CHF 2.50 per night, and the accommodation tax is CHF 2.00 per night. Your room is available from 3 p. m. on the day of arrival and until 11 a. m. on the day of departure. You can stop in front of the hotel for loading and unloading your luggage. The paid parking for your vehicle is available at the Casino Palace, approximately 350m away. There are also parking spaces for electric cars.

The corner rooms Panorama are available as double rooms (approx. 25m²) available, all with two balconies overlooking the lake. All rooms are equipped with a separate seating area, two single beds, flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included depending on the rate. (Exkl. The shared rooms have three beds (approx. 18m²) and some have a balcony with lake view. The triple rooms are all equipped with three single beds and a balcony. The family rooms are quietly located to the rear and consist of a double bed and can be extended with an extra bed. All rooms have a hairdryer, flat-screen TV and free WLAN. THE HISTORY

Landgasthof Zur Post

The property, located on the Salzstrasse from Berchtesgaden to Augsburg, with the former farm name “Bäck”, has existed for more than 550 years. In 1460, the property first appeared in documents as “Hof zu Westerndorf”. It has always been a stately farm, as well as a bakery and inn, and at times a mill was also attached. In the last century, the “Bäck” gradually changed to a pure “guest economy”. The first evidence of this can be found in brewery invoices from 1576…
